H. JAY BOYER
Mr. Boyer grew up in Round Rock, Texas and received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. After teaching middle school for a few years, he attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
Mr. Boyer began his legal career in business litigation at the firm of Collins, Basinger, and Pullman, PC in Dallas, Texas. There he learned the value of taking a pragmatic and business-oriented approach. The experience also provided an education in the contract provisions most frequently litigated.
After working in law firms for a few years, Mr. Boyer went in-house and served as General Counsel for a software company in Dallas, TX. In this role he used his knowledge of frequently litigated deal points to aid his client with business transactions. This position also expanded his experience to other aspects of law such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and employment law.
After working as General Counsel, Mr. Boyer started his own firm providing legal services to small and medium sized companies. With over a decade of experience, Mr. Boyer has the knowledge and expertise to quickly diagnose the needs of a company and prescribe the most efficient means of achieving a solution.
